Carnival Paisley

I used to hitch a ride over to the train tracks just outside of town. There, they would set up a huge tent, every summer with elephants, lions, dancing bears, and clowns. I would lay on my belly and peak through a knot hole in the wood support wall that ran around the base circumference of the Big Top and watch the performances… that is, until one summer… one of the clowns decided to use that peeping hole for a glory hole! Almost put out my eye!
